AERATED CONCRETE COURSING BRICKS
(4.8 stars) • 10 reviews
Description:

Our Airtec Brickettes offer brick-sized Airtec coursing units for use as infill around doors and windows, to close cavities and maintain exact coursing height. These coursing units lessen the need for cutting down full blocks and help to maintain material continuity throughout the wall which preserves the wall's thermal, acoustic and air-tightness qualities.

Airtec Brickettes are available in all Airtec product grades and with a range of thicknesses. Their face size is 215mm x 65mm, they are supplied banded, shrink-wrapped and on non-returnable wooden pallets.

All Airtec products are BBA certified, ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmentally and BES 6001 Responsible Sourcing certified.

In common with all other Airtec blocks, they boast the very best possible dimensional tolerance category of 'Thin Layer Mortar B' (TLMB) but are perfectly suitable for conventional 10mm mortar joint construction.

Airtec blocks are available in ‘Standard’ texture finish only, providing a plain-faced, smooth, cellular texture which is a suitable background for accepting renders and plasters. Airtec blocks are not intended for paint-grade or fair-faced applications.

Applications:
  • Inner and outer leaf of cavity walls.
  • Load-bearing and non load-bearing walls.
  • Internal partition walls.
