MIDI 'Standard' or 'Paint-grade'
Description:
MIDI ‘Standard’ texture finish is for general background applications whereas 'Paint-grade' finish is available for internal paint-grade applications. It offers the same characteristics of a 140mm solid dense concrete blocks but at only 66% of the weight it gives you a lighter block with easier manual handling.
Our MIDI blocks are 140mm in width but are available with a shorter length of 290mm instead of the standard 440mm. This results in a significant reduction of handling weight of up to 33% a conventional 140mm solid dense block. Therefore, the MIDI offers you a 140mm solid dense concrete block with weights well below the recommended limit of 20kg for repetitive manual handling.
In common with all Dense Concrete blocks, MIDI blocks are a highly resilient and tough load-bearing block available in strengths of 7.3 N/mm² or greater, suitable for use above and below damp-proof course (DPC).
MIDI blocks are manufactured to BS EN 771-3 and are ISO 9001 Quality Assured, ISO 14001 Environmentally Certified and hold BES 6001 Responsible Sourcing certification.
