Description:
Insulite blocks are the perfect versatile, all-round building blocks. These medium density concrete blocks contain a significant proportion of recycled raw materials, making them among the most environmentally friendly and sustainable building blocks available.
These high-quality blocks consist of a mixture of quality lightweight aggregates and are fully adaptable for all construction methods for housing and industrial buildings.
Insulite blocks are manufactured to BS EN 771-3 and are ISO 9001 Quality Assured, ISO 14001 Environmentally Certified and hold BES 6001 Responsible Sourcing certification.
Insulite is also available in two finishes, the ‘Standard’ texture finish provides an excellent surface for mortars, renders and plasters, whereas the ‘Premier’ close textured finish provides a smoother surface, making this ideal for internal paint-grade applications.
Applications:
- Inner and Outer leaves of cavity walls up to 3 storeys (7.3 N/mm² or above).
- Internal partition walls.
- Block and beam floor infill (7.3 N/mm² or above).
- Walls below damp-proof course (DPC) (7.3 N/mm² or above).
- Acoustic separating walls to Part E of the Building Regulations and Robust Details.
- ‘Standard’ texture finish provides an excellent surface for mortars, renders and plasters.
- ‘Premier’ close textured finish is suitable for internal paint-grade applications. Not suitable for unfinished or unprotected external applications.
