Concrete Slip Blocks
Description:
We manufacture a range of slip blocks to maintain coursing heights and aid the installation of block & beam flooring. These blocks are designed to work in conjunction with our Insulite or Dense Concrete Blocks, to ensure material continuity throughout the construction.
Produced to BS EN 771-3 our Slip Blocks are available in ‘Standard’ texture finish in background applications. All blocks are suitable for use above and below damp-proof course (DPC).
Slip blocks are manufactured to BS EN 771-3 and are ISO 9001 Quality Assured, ISO 14001 Environmentally Certified and hold BES 6001 Responsible Sourcing certification.
SLIP BLOCKS FOR WALL/BLOCK & BEAM COURSING HEIGHT
Slip blocks used to maintain coursing height on adjoining masonry wall for 150mm and 225mm high T-beams. (see Gallery Image)
SPILT COURSING BLOCKS FOR BEAM END INFILL
380mm long spilt coursing blocks are used to close the space between the beams at the ends (blocks laid 440mm wide and a 525mm beam spacing.)
Applications:
- Inner leaves of cavity walls.
- Block and beam floor coursing.
- Block and beam floor split coursing infill blocks.
- ‘Standard’ texture finish in background applications.
